Does Your Car Have a Convertible Top the Needs Repair or Replacing?

Convertibles are great cars to have. There is nothing like being able to take the top down on warm days and just cruise around. And as long as the top is in one piece and the back window is still intact when the weather is not so nice there are no problems. Although, anyone with a convertible top knows that someday they may have to repair or replace their top. The biggest reason for this is that the top has been torn or cut. If a tear is small it might be wise to repair it. Just don’t wait too long. The longer you wait the bigger the tear may become. As the saying goes, “a stitch in time saves nine.” Another reason for repair is the back window falling out.

Sometimes you have damage that is too severe to repair. Then, it becomes necessary to replace it. Many people purchase a top from an online source and try to replace the top themselves. Unfortunately, very few succeed. Replacing a convertible top requires special tools that are not in everyone’s tool box. Another issue is that “bargain” convertible top is just not quite built to specifications. In other words, it doesn’t fit.

Let Gladstone Auto Trim eliminate the risk and frustration in repairing or replacing your convertible top. We have been in the business of providing this service to convertible car owners for over 30 years in the Kansas City Metro area. And we would like to help you too.
